A former European Union senior official, with an extensive experience in the EU foreign relations, as an Ambassador Head of Delegation and Special Envoy. Specialized in international trade negotiations, peace keeping interventions, development and humanitarian aid policies, enlargement negotiations and cooperation with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) from the World Bank. He holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Teramo, Italy, and a master’s degree in International Politics from the Free University of Brussels.
