ICP Consulting, throughout its professional career, has always searched for collaboration spaces with the State of Qatar, seeking excellence for business development, and the promotion of values in bilateral economic relations between Spain and Qatar.
In this sense, and particularly since the blockade imposed on Qatar, we have worked intensely to favor the interests of the Spanish food industry in view of the market opportunities offered by the new situation in Qatar. As a result of this effort, we have materialized an important collaboration agreement for our client Central Lechera Asturiana, CAPSA FOOD. An agreement that will reinforce the efforts of the State of Qatar to strengthen its independence in terms of food supply, strengthening at the same time relations between Spain and Qatar.
CAPSA FOOD has signed a contract with the Qatari distributor Toscana Trading for which it becomes its strategic partner for the commercialization of Central Lechera Asturiana brand products in Qatar. These products (milk, shakes, long life yogurts, etc.) will be present in the retail channel as well as in Horeca.
The agreement is part of the company´s strategic plan consisting of being present in new international markets to promote the competitiveness and strength of CAPSA FOOD. Currently it is present in more than 40 countries in Asia, Africa and America, and now we focus its efforts and priorities in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region, where imports of food products reach 75% of the total needs and, in some countries in the area, rise to 90%.
Toscana Trading, partner of ICP Consulting in the region, is a consolidated and prestigious company, with strong ties in Qatar, and also owns catering and hospitality establishments. This company has grown very quickly in the food sector and has opted for the distribution of premium and quality products.
CAPSA FOOD also explores its opening to other markets in the region, such as the United Arab Emirates or the Sultanate of Oman.
